About Our Organization...About GMA - Well known for his ability to stir a passion in Christians for missions, Leif Hetland is the founder of Global Mission Awareness with the purpose of raising up an army of Great Commission Christians that will make HIS LAST COMMAND OUR FIRST PRIORITY. Today, GMA is involved in reaching the unreached in 22 nations. GMA believes we are heading into the home stretch of the greatest race in human history. A message that has been passed like a flaming torch from person to person and nation to nation for over two thousand years is being handed to GMA. * Extension Ministries - MIA & Destiny International * 10/40 Window - The 10/40 Window contains the highest concentration of least-evangelized countries and people. And yet, the western church gives only 0.1% of its resources to penetrate this darkness. * Our Mission - GMA exists to Glorify God by reaching the unloved, the unreached and the untold with the Love of God. * Our Ongoing 4-Purpose Ministry - 1. Rescuing The Children...GMA will minister to the children of the world who are orphaned, hungry, ill, and abused. Adopt a child will be the focus for 2008. 2. Raising Up The Native Leaders...GMA?s vision is to assist, support, and train 10,000 native missionaries into the most unevangelized areas of the 10/40 Window. GMA provides pastor conferences, leadership seminars, Muslim outreach, bible school, and Lighthouses of Love. THE BEST USE OF MONEY IS SENDING NATIVE MISSIONARIES TO THE MISSION FIELD. So far, 6,350 leaders from 22 nations have been touched. 3. Reaching The Most Unreached...GMA focused on the 3.3 billion people (more than half the world) living in the 1040 Window. The 10/40 Window contains the highest concentration of least evangelized countries and people, and yet the western church gives only 0.1% of its resources to penetrate this darkness. Evangelistic campaigns, Power Evangelism, Partnership Send a Native Missionary, Bibles, Literature production and distribution. GMA in partnership with International Gospel Mission and other partners have seen 650,000 names added to the Lamb?s Book of Life. The majority of these souls live in the 10/40 Window. 4. Rebuilding The Nations...GMA is believing God for the nations. (Habakkuk 1:5 as a gift to be received) The kingdom of God needs to penetrate all areas of a society. Church, Family, Education, Government, Media, Arts, and Business must be gates of influence to see Kingdom Transformation. This is a new focus for all of us.
